I'm Ansar, and I built GetGenuineDeals.com because I kept running into the same problem shopping online in Pakistan: a product shows a big red "50% OFF" badge, but there's no way to tell if that's a real discount or if the "original price" was just marked up first. I wanted a simple way to check — so I built one, and figured other shoppers would want it too.
We track prices on products from Daraz.pk and other Pakistani online stores over time, automatically, so we build up a real price history for each one. When you check a product on our site, you're seeing what that item has actually sold for over the past weeks — not just today's sticker price.
If a "discount" looks off — say, the price was quietly raised a few days before the "sale" started — we flag it, with the price history to back it up.
Everything you see on this site is pulled directly from our own tracking database. If we don't have enough history for a product yet, we say so instead of guessing or filling in a placeholder. If a stat isn't available, we hide it rather than show something made up. This is the whole point of the site — it only works if the numbers are real.

This never affects which products we track, how we present their price history, or whether we flag a suspicious price.
